… that Georgia’s Tax-free appliance holiday starts Thursday, October 1st! If you’re in the market for a new appliance, this would be a good time to make your purchases. October 1st-4th marks Georgia’s tax free holiday for Energy Star-qualified or WaterSense-labeled products. Purchases must be intended for home use, rather than commercial, and cannot exceed $1,500.
Qualified appliances and products eligible for the sales tax exemption include dishwashers, clothes washers, air conditioners, ceiling fans, fluorescent light bulbs, dehumidifiers, programmable thermostats, refrigerators, doors, windows and skylights.
