The Lodge at BridgeMill will be hosting “Wash Away Hunger”—a community carwash— in their parking lot on Friday, June 7, from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. In efforts to generate donations for the MUST Ministries’ local food pantry, a group of volunteers will provide free carwashes to anyone who donates six or more non-perishable food items. In addition to the Lodge at BridgeMill staff, volunteers include congregation members of the Sixes United Methodist and Revolution churches in Canton. Local area college students will also be assisting with the event!

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking to identify potential improvements along SR 20 from I-575 in Canton to SR 400 in Cumming. Residents and the commuting public experience congestion, limited mobility, and safety issues along this heavily traveled corridor. The upcoming process is an opportunity to define the existing issues and to develop context sensitive solutions that address the needs of the traveling public, while seeking to preserve the character of the community and quality of life of its residents. An interactive web based engagement tool has been developed! Please visit: http://sr20.metrorquest.com to share your input. Please respond by June 15th.
